A lovely garnet robe. A nose of very ripe fruit, with a hint of crystallized prune. When swirled, it releases warm, spicy, slightly toasted notes.
A fine start in the mouth, nice structure - full-bodied and fleshy, fine, silky tannins. Fresh, long-lasting finish.
A wine for laying down.
Ready for drinking from 2003, but may be kept longer.
